What do I want my work to say?

This is the question I've been asked and after some thought and reflection to my earlier works I see amd feel it's about giving voice to women, to myself, to empower and recover women. I've started work on a piece about Womens experience and memory of 'being woman'. I've asked a selection of women from different backgrounds, age, class, race, sexuality and professions to write a piece of first hand experience/memory of being a woman, of what it means to be a woman. The words are written and sent to me anonymously. I will then film different women reading out these pieces writing. This is in the beginning stages so may well evolve amd change!
